Grand strategy · real time · 147 nations
War is always on the table. So is everything else.
Take office in any country on Earth and govern it for ten years. Budgets, factions, coups, sanctions, shell production and cruise missiles — on real borders, at real ranges, in a world that keeps moving while you decide.
A replay, not a trailer: two years of one campaign, every border, war and strike decided by the game's own AI. Hover a province; click a country to lead it.

Open worlds. Walk into one.
Every world here is already standing, on one of three clocks. All 147 countries are seats: take one and you are in, and the countries nobody has taken are run by their ministers until somebody does.
Real time, 2.55× and 4.55× are the same game at three paces. For friends only, make a private room from the title screen.
Domestic politics
Every crisis has a cause.
Nothing in Fracture happens on a timer. A country with nothing wrong, in a world with nothing happening, generates no events at all. Neglect builds pressure; problems feed each other; and when something breaks, what breaks is proportional to how bad you let it get.
Two to four options, real trade-offs, no correct answer. Ignore one long enough and events decide for you — and that counts against you too.
These are real crises the game handed governments in the campaign above.

Military
Real ranges. Real geography.
A 5-inch naval gun reaches 24 kilometres, so a destroyer has to close a coast to shell it. Research the next mark and the same hull throws a 155mm round 40 km; the cruiser's hypervelocity projectile reaches 185. Order an attack out of range and the ship sails in until it can fire — or tells you it can't reach.
Missiles fly real distances past real air defence. Shells come out of a depot you have to fill. Every weapon line is three generations and seven refits deep.
Drag the ship. Click a city to aim at it. The coastline is the game's own.
